Summer updates from Parker, CO 6/11/02 - 11:30 PM Well it's about time I'm doing this. I've been meaning to begin writing updates on how I'm doing, but I've been doing so much I just haven't found time. For those of you who don't know, I'm beginning a youth ministry internship at Southeast Christian Church in Parker, CO. I've only been here for two weeks but I already have so much to say so I guess I will just fill you in on the basics. I'm staying with the Young's, a great family that lives only a mile or two from the church. They have two boys, one who just graduated High School (Zach) and another who will be in Seventh grade (Ethan). I've really enjoyed hanging out with their family when I'm not doing stuff at church. They've kept me pretty busy at the church so far, but I am REALLY enjoying everything. I've done everything from graphic design to construction, but I'll get more into that stuff some other time. I have some pictures that I plan to put up, but those will have to wait a few more days. I need to get to bed because tomorrow I am being "forced" to go to Six Flags with about 70 students from the ministry. It should be a lot of fun, but I may need my rest. Be sure to keep checking back. I hope to write more, and even include pictures, but for now just know that I am having a great time. I really feel like I'm pretty settled in.
