Personal Updated 2/15/03 - 10:30 PM - I'm Engaged! I recently created this new section for personal updates because there has been some recent news in my life that isn't directly related to any of my current ministry.
If you look closely at the beautiful hand of my girlfriend, Melissa, you will find a brand new piece of jewelry. That's right, after more than five wonderful years of dating I finally popped the question. Yesterday, Valentines Day, we took the day and went skiing in Wisconsin. Afterward we headed over to the vacation home of a family friend of mine where we got cleaned up and had dinner. Afterward, we went down by the lake and I asked her to marry me. (She said yes!) We headed back through one of the worst storms I've ever driven through but we made it safely back. Now all we have to do is plan a wedding and get ready for the rest of our lives... no problem.
